Services

Three things, done properly.

Website design, email that reaches the inbox, and someone to keep it updated. For small businesses around Indianapolis that want a simple site done properly, not a platform to manage.

Indianapolis web design

Straightforward websites written by hand for small businesses across the Indy metro. The kind that says who you are, what you do, and how to reach you, then gets out of the way.

  • Static hosting, nothing to patch
  • Mobile-friendly and accessible
  • You own the code outright

Stop your email going to spam

Gmail and Outlook check whether your domain is allowed to send mail before they deliver it. If those settings are missing, your invoices and quotes go to junk. I fix the settings, then prove it worked.

  • I check your current setup
  • See who else is sending as you
  • Before-and-after inbox test

The settings are called SPF, DKIM and DMARC. You do not need to know that. I handle it. Get a free check →

Looking after it afterwards

New hours, new photos, a price that changed. Send it over and it is done, without you learning a content system you will use twice a year.

  • Contact form goes to your inbox
  • I watch it stays online
  • Routine edits usually completed within one business day
Recent work

Sites that do one job well.

Live, hand-coded, and built to stay cheap to run. Load it on your phone and time it.

The Indiana Farm Stands homepage, a statewide directory of u-pick farms and orchards.

Indiana Farm Stands

indianafarmstands.com →

A directory I built and maintain, not a client job. It lists u-pick farms and orchards across the state so a family can tell which stand is actually open this weekend before driving an hour to find out. Every listing carries the date it was last checked.

90Farms listed
40Indiana counties
7Crop categories

Static pages on free hosting, so a directory this size costs nothing per month to keep online.

The Chicago Fine Dining homepage, a ranked guide to the city's twenty-five best restaurants.

Chicago Fine Dining

chicagofinedining.com →

Another one of mine. The twenty-five best tables in Chicago, scored on cooking, welcome, room and value instead of left as a bare list. Every entry carries its Michelin standing, its neighborhood, the price band and the address you need to book.

25Restaurants ranked
20Michelin-starred
10Neighborhoods

The 2026 Michelin guide is a list. This turns it into something you can decide from in one sitting.

Pricing

Fixed price. Quoted up front.

What a small business website costs, before you have to ask. You get the number in writing before work starts, and it does not move unless the scope does.

One-pager
$600 starting

A single well-built page for a business that mostly needs to be found and called.

  • Custom design, no template
  • Contact form wired up
  • Set up to show in local search
  • Two rounds of revisions
Care plan
$55 /month

Ongoing upkeep for a site I built for you. Cancel any time.

  • Routine edits usually completed within one business day
  • I watch it stays online
  • A speed check every three months
  • Priority on new work

Why an agency quotes $3,000 for this

They are paying salespeople, project managers, and the meetings you did not ask for. I am not, and there is no page-builder license in the bill either. The finished site is static files on hosting that costs nothing to run, so there is no monthly fee waiting behind the build. Less goes into producing it, so less comes out of your budget.

Questions

The things everyone asks first.

How much does a small business website cost?

A one-page site starts at $600. A full site of up to eight pages starts at $1,350. That is a one-time cost, not a subscription. You get the number in writing before any work starts, and it only changes if you change the scope.

Why are my business emails going to spam?

Because your domain is not proving the mail is really from you. Gmail and Outlook now check that before delivering anything, and a domain that worked fine two years ago can start failing without warning. There are three settings that fix it, and they live with whoever manages your domain name. I find them, correct them, and send you a before-and- after test so you can see it worked. If you want the names, they are SPF, DKIM and DMARC.

Do I have to pay a monthly fee for my website?

No. The sites I build are static files on free hosting, so there is no platform subscription. The only thing you have to pay for is your domain name, roughly $12 a year. The $55 per month care plan is optional, and only worth it if you want me handling edits and monitoring for you.

How long does it take to build a website?

About a week for a one-page site, once you send me your text and photos. Two to three weeks for a full site. The slow part is almost always waiting on content, not the build.

What areas around Indianapolis do you cover?

Anywhere in the Indy metro, so Marion, Hamilton, Hendricks, Johnson, Boone, Hancock and Morgan counties. That covers Carmel, Fishers, Noblesville, Westfield, Zionsville, Greenwood, Avon, Plainfield, Brownsburg, Greenfield, Franklin, Mooresville and Lebanon. I can meet in person around Indianapolis, and the work itself happens remotely, so being further out is not a problem.

What if I already have a website?

If it is slow, hard to update, or costing you a monthly fee you resent, I can rebuild it as a simple site that costs nothing to keep online. I will not take over someone else's build to patch it, because inheriting a system I did not write helps neither of us. A rebuild I can do.

Free check

Find out if your email is landing in junk.

Give me your domain and I will look up what Gmail and Outlook see when your mail arrives. You get a one-page report back within one business day, in plain English, whether or not anything is wrong.

  • What is set up, what is missing, what is broken
  • Who else is currently able to send as your domain
  • The price to fix it, stated on the last line

No obligation, and I do not add you to anything.
